What do you remember most about the DMZ experience?

 

Volunteered for draft
and Infantry.
Expected Viet Nam.
 

Trained hard

Spent almost a year
training before deploying

Arrived Korea May 1968
Spent around a week in TDC

Went directly to the DMZ

Base Camp

Promoted to Sgt. E-5

3-5 day patrols on the DMZ.
Move all day
