Other IHPRA newsletters include old gymnasium interior and exterior images.

The IHPRA site receives many questions and comments.

I'm looking for a physical fitness book written by a man name kuvonsky.
Have you ever heard of him?

Perhaps you mean Nickolas Kounovsky.
He wrote several books.

A few years ago, the Army National Guard conducted a study to investigate Recruit Sustainment Program (RSP) pipeline losses.
Poor physical fitness was of course one of if not they most import predictors of failure/success in basic training.
Here are a few photos taken during the study.  The problems are apparent at all levels.
Recruits arrive severely deficient, and the physical readiness training and testing often injures them even more.
Cadre make little or no effort to improve military bearing, and are not trained to properly do so.
Our physical culture has decayed quietly below the radar for many years.

How were the reserve component fitness levels during Desert Shield and  Desert Storm?

GAO assessment was sobering.
