MURRAY Bridge
Cal-isthenics held its review concert on Sunday.
About 80 people took the opportunity to watch, and support the
girls, as they performed their various items.
The items included march, exercises, club swinging, rods, song,
dance and folk dance.
The club currently consists of three teams - the tinies, the
sub-junior and the juniors.
All girls have been rehearsing weekly since February, and in the
next two weeks will focus on fine tuning their routines in
preparation for the Adelaide competitions at the Royalty Theatre.
The concert was also a chance for the club's two national
representatives (Simone Kuchel and Amelia Schiller) to perform items
that they have recently competed in at the national competitions.
Both girls have worked extremely hard to achieve the high
standard of talent that was shown.
Tinies coach Cheree Dunkin showed the audience her many talents
by performing four solos.
All teams performed well, and the girls enjoyed a great day.
The experience has given them confidence on stage, and they are
looking forward to competing in Adelaide.
